Cedric Nicaise
Born into a family of scientists and wine collectors, Cedric spent the first five years of his life in Belgium, before moving to America with his family, though he would continue to spend a portion of each year travelling in Europe while growing up, taking in the culture, and the food. He attended Ithaca College and graduated with a degree in history. After graduation Cedric spent a number of years working at various restaurants throughout the upstate New York region. Eventually succumbing to his passion for restaurants he moved to Manhattan where he began working at Aureole. In honing his dining room experience there he took a great interest in the world of wine, ultimately joining Eleven Madison Park’s wine team as a Sommelier in 2012. Since then he’s been a key contributor to the continued evolution of the wine program and education of the staff, and was promoted to Wine Director in the spring of 2015.
Andrea Morris
Andrea grew up in beautiful Oakland, California, where the fresh produce and great restaurants of the Bay Area inspired her to start cooking in high school. While attending the Culinary Institute of America she took her first wine class and fell in love instantly at the age of nineteen. Upon graduation, Andrea took a serving position at Eleven Madison Park before becoming a sommelier first at Oceana and then at Jean-Georges, where she spent three-plus years serving wine in one of the city’s top dining rooms. Presently, she blends her passion for hospitality and wine as the beverage director for Nix, a one year old Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant in the West Village.
Morgan Harris
Morgan Harris has worked as a sommelier in New York City since 2009. He began his career in wine bars, but has been working in fine dining for the last three years. Currently Head Sommelier at Charlie Palmer’s Aureole Restaurant in Times Square, he holds an advanced certification from the Court of Master sommeliers. He’s competed nationally multiple times in Top|Somm and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Young Sommelier competitions. In addition to his day-to-day work on the floor, he writes and educates frequently. He hopes to spend his career promoting wine as one of the planet’s finest agricultural products.
